Causifold Blogger Automation
An editor-operated application that distributes approved CAUSIFOLD article editions to our official Google Blogger publication.
Purpose
CAUSIFOLD is an independent science and technology publication. The application publishes selected, approved English reader editions on causifold.blogspot.com, with attribution and links to the authoritative articles on causifold.com.
This is an internal publishing workflow, not a public Google sign-in service. Readers do not need to connect their Google accounts.
Google authorization
An authorized CAUSIFOLD publisher grants the Blogger API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/blogger. The application checks the authorized blog’s live, draft and scheduled posts for duplicates; creates or updates unpublished drafts; and publishes approved drafts.
It does not request Gmail, Google Drive or Contacts access, and the current publishing adapter does not delete posts.
Editorial and security controls
CAUSIFOLD controls article sources, references and release approval. Blogger reader editions link to the original. OAuth credentials are configured as restricted GitHub Actions secrets rather than published in article content.
